Welcome to New Orleans! If you purchased airline tickets from YMT Vacations, a friendly YMT representative will greet you at the airport and transport you to your centrally located hotel. Tonight is yours to enjoy—take an evening stroll through the famously lively city that takes its French motto, “laissez les bon temps rouler,” which means “let the good times roll,” very seriously!

Enjoy a half-day included tour of “The Big Easy,” one of the country’s oldest and most interesting cities with an included Jazz brunch (included) at Court of Two Sisters, an open-air restaurant in the heart of the French Quarter. Enjoy complexly flavored Creole and Louisiana dishes while a live jazz trio play their soulful tunes in the middle of the courtyard. You’ll see the French Quarter with Jackson Square, along with St. Louis Cathedral and colorful Bourbon Street during a short walk. Visit one of the famous old cemeteries, then continue to the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. View the longest bridge in the world and see the new flood gates and rebuilt levees, as well as mansions. Finally, we’ll follow the Mardi Gras route on St. Charles Avenue. (Brunch)

Spend the morning at your leisure or join us for an optional tour before we head to the cruise port to board the Norwegian Escape, where you’ll have plenty of time to relax, settle into your stateroom, and get acquainted with the ship before dinner.
