A Tip To Prep For Your Trip
Many European countries have laws to control energy and reduce carbon emissions, affecting hotels and air conditioning. Hotels can only use air conditioning during certain months or when outside temperatures reach specific levels, with legal limits on how low they can set the temperature. Adjusting the air temperature in your hotel room may not always be possible. Dress in layers and wear light, breathable clothing, especially from June to August.
Our Tour Staff’s Recommendation
There’s only a couple months until your own Spanish adventure! Until then, watch a film to get even more excited. “Carmen” (1983), directed by Carlos Saura, this film is a modern adaptation of the classic opera by Georges Bizet. The story follows a dance company rehearsing for a production of “Carmen,” and the lines between art and reality begin to blur as the director falls in love with the lead dancer. The film is a passionate exploration of love, jealousy, and creativity, set to the backdrop of flamenco music and dance, deeply rooted in Spanish tradition.
