Paris

Start your day with a panoramic tour of Paris, the world- famous City of Light! Take in the sights as your motor coach ventures past Champs-Elysées, known for its grandeur. You’ll also see the Arc de Triomphe, a symbol of French history, the Grand Palais and Alexander III Bridge, Notre Dame and Île de la Cité, and Place de la Concorde, one of Paris’s most historic and scenic locations. View the Latin Quarter, chic St. Germain, and the iconic Louvre, as well as the Luxembourg Gardens. Plus, no trip to Paris would be complete without seeing the famous Eiffel Tower. Lyon

Lyon - Avignon

Leave for Avignon today, and enjoy lunch on your own in your free time. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Avignon. Ringed by incredibly preserved 800 year old stone ramparts, Avignon’s turn as the seat of papal power bestowed upon the city a treasury of magnificent art and architecture. The ramparts were erected to keep the plague and invaders out during the turbulent Middle Ages. (B)

Avignon - Nizza - Avignon

Depart from Avignon and head to sunny Nice. This beachside getaway is the cultural capital of the French Riviera and is known for its azure waters, golden beaches and its quaint old town. Can I arrange pre- or post-tour accommodations to extend my trip?

Please ask your YMT Sales Consultant to check availability.

Can this tour accommodate triples?

No, triples are not permitted.

I’m booking my own flights for this tour, what time should I arrive and depart?

You should arrive in Paris no later than 3pm. At the end of the tour, your return flight from Paris should depart no earlier than 8am.

Will I need any visas or travel permits for this tour?

No, not at this time.

Does YMT have any limits for luggage?

The YMT luggage allowance is one suitcase and one small bag per person, in addition to a small handbag or personal item. Due to capacity limits on vehicles, the standard maximum weight per suitcase is 50 pounds. The maximum size for a suitcase is 62 linear inches (sum of length, width, and depth). For example, suitcase cannot be larger than 30 inches by 20 inches by 12 inches. Luggage that is larger or heavier may attract extra fees, might not fit on the motor coach and may need to be shipped home.

The small bag cannot be larger than 12 inches by 11 inches by 6 inches and must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. To comply with safety regulations for motor coaches, mid-size buses, and vans, wheeled carry-on bags are not accepted as your small bag.  View our helpful packing guide here!

Seine River Dinner Cruise

Enjoy a dreamy evening in Paris aboard a leisurely dinner cruise down the Seine. The City of Light comes alive at night, when its most iconic sites are warmly lit up and music fills the air. A private coach will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the dock, where you will board your dinner cruise ship and embark down the Seine. Watch Paris unfold in front of you while you savor an authentic 3-course French dinner and perfectly paired wine. Much of the world’s best known and most beloved historic architecture in the world are on the banks of the Seine, including the medieval Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, sprawling Musee d’Orsay, magnificent Louvre Museum, the elegant National Assembly, and more!

Head back to Lyon at around 5pm, and later int he evening, enjoy a sumptuous three-course dinner at a typical bouchon (a local restaurant that serves Lyonnaise cuisine).
