Paris

Start your day with a panoramic tour of Paris, the world- famous City of Light! Take in the sights as your motor coach ventures past Champs-Elysées, known for its grandeur. You’ll also see the Arc de Triomphe, a symbol of French history, the Grand Palais and Alexander III Bridge, Notre Dame and Île de la Cité, and Place de la Concorde, one of Paris’s most historic and scenic locations. View the Latin Quarter, chic St. Germain, and the iconic Louvre, as well as the Luxembourg Gardens. Plus, no trip to Paris would be complete without seeing the famous Eiffel Tower. Paris - Dijon - Lyon

Lyon

Enjoy a half-day guided tour of Lyon. The old town “Vieux Lyon” features Renaissance houses and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city is known for its high quality silk products and the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, which towers over the city. (B)

Lyon - Avignon

Leave for Avignon today, and enjoy lunch on your own in your free time. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Avignon. Ringed by incredibly preserved 800 year old stone ramparts, Avignon’s turn as the seat of papal power bestowed upon the city a treasury of magnificent art and architecture. The ramparts were erected to keep the plague and invaders out during the turbulent Middle Ages. (B)

Avignon - Nizza - Avignon

Depart from Avignon and head to sunny Nice. This beachside getaway is the cultural capital of the French Riviera and is known for its azure waters, golden beaches and its quaint old town. Enjoy a guided tour of the resort town’s attractions, and have lunch on your own before returning to Avignon for dinner(included) at your hotel. (D)

Avignon - Carcassonne - Bordeaux

Bordeaux - Loire Valley - Paris

Depart from Bordeaux to Loire Valley and visit Château de Chambord (entrance included). Continue on to Paris and enjoy a farewell dinner (included) at the hotel. (D)

I’m booking my own flights for this tour, what time should I arrive and depart?

You should arrive in Paris no later than 3pm. At the end of the tour, your return flight from Paris should depart no earlier than 8am.

Will I need any visas or travel permits for this tour?

Seine River Dinner Cruise

Enjoy a dreamy evening in Paris aboard a leisurely dinner cruise down the Seine. The City of Light comes alive at night, when its most iconic sites are warmly lit up and music fills the air. A private coach will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the dock, where you will board your dinner cruise ship and embark down the Seine. Watch Paris unfold in front of you while you savor an authentic 3-course French dinner and perfectly paired wine. Much of the world’s best known and most beloved historic architecture in the world are on the banks of the Seine, including the medieval Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, sprawling Musee d’Orsay, magnificent Louvre Museum, the elegant National Assembly, and more!
